Our story

Muffin is the only independent, youth-led print magazine in Aotearoa New Zealand. Every part of it, the ideas, the writing, the decisions, comes from young people telling their own stories.

Every issue is shaped by submissions from young people across the country. We publish features, art, writing, and ideas sent in by readers, then work alongside them to get their pieces ready for print.
