Who we are

Our story

A homeschool publication for kids who don't fit the mould.

Muffin started with a simple idea: that the kids who feel a little different, the ones who don't quite fit the mould, are exactly the ones worth celebrating. We call them muffins. (It was going to be "misfits," but muffin felt friendlier, and honestly, who doesn't like muffins?)

We're a homeschool magazine made by a small team who get what it's like to do things your own way. Every issue is full of features, art, puzzles, and ideas, and here's the part that matters most: a lot of it comes straight from our readers.

You're not just someone who reads Muffin. You're part of how it gets made.

We don't want passive readers. We want a community. Got an idea for a feature, a person to celebrate, or something you'd love to see? Send it in, we read everything, and the best ideas end up in the magazine.

The muffins who help make Muffin

Our contributors

Some of the best stuff in Muffin doesn't come from us. It comes from you.

Want to see your name here?

It's easy. Head to our homepage and send us an idea, a feature you'd love, a muffin to nominate, or anything you think belongs in the magazine. If we use it, you're in. No account, no fuss. We just love hearing from you.

Send an idea

This space is waiting for you. Be one of the first, send us an idea and you could be featured right here.

Be part of it

Muffin only works because people like you get involved. So, what would you love to see in the next issue?

However you join in, we're glad you're here. Welcome to the muffins.
